To mark World Mental Health Day 2020, a collective of creative talent from across London’s West End theatre came together to make a new original song and accompanying dance film.

Entitled ‘Hush’, the piece aimed to raise awareness around the importance of positive mental health during the coronavirus pandemic and the need for many to seek out peace and calm against a backdrop of uncertainty and noise.

‘Hush’ was written by musical theatre composer/lyricist Kath Haling with additional musical arrangement by Harry Haden-Brown. Vocals were provided by West End performer Leo Miles (Phantom of the Opera, Les Misérables).

Choreographed by Erico Montes, former First Artist of the Royal Ballet, the film features dancers from the Royal Ballet including Benjamin Ella, Harry Churches and Giacomo Rovero.

As well as being instrumental in the ideation and creation of ‘Hush’, upon launch of the film, TDC also secured coverage in the likes of the Evening Standard, Whats On Stage, Broadway World and The Irish Independent.
