From the very beginning, we have been a close ally of the Design & Technology Association, working to bang the drum about the critical importance of D&T and creative subjects within education at all levels – an issue very close to the heart of TDC PR.
We are also members of the D&T Association’s Blueprint 1000 programme which aims to bring education and business closer together.
In 2020, we supported the D&T Association in communicating to national media the huge contribution by hundreds of Design and Technology teachers across the UK in making nearly 500,000 pieces of PPE for frontline healthcare workers tackling the coronavirus pandemic.
Other projects over the years include the hugely successful ‘Creative Britain in Reverse?’ campaign, developed in partnership with Seymourpowell and the James Dyson Foundation.
The cornerstones of the campaign were making a short film and organising a high-profile panel debate in Westminster with the likes of Deyan Sudjic, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Dick Powell and Ajaz Ahmed.
